Lookout Pass operates under a USFS Special Use Permit. The ski area has almost doubled in size with the Eagle Peak 500 acre expansion taking us to 1,023 total skiable acres.
While our Vertical has grown to 1,650ft from the top of the Eagle Peak Quad to the bottom of Chair #2.
The USFS approved the mountain's expansion plans to Eagle Peak back in May 2017. The road to the summit of Eagle Peak and a few connector trails were constructed over summer 2019 along with some logging of the new trails. All remaining trails were cut over the summer of 2021 & 22.
A SnowCat experience was offered over the 2021-22 winter so guests could experience some of this new terrain. 
A CTec Quad Lift (our second Quad) named Eagle Peak Quad opened for winter 2022-23 servicing all this new terrain and the 14 new trails!
