Snow levels hovering around 4500-5000 feet. Snowfall rates of 1-2 inches per hour are possible late this morning through early afternoon in the mountains and passes across central Idaho. This would make travel difficult over Lolo, Lookout and Lost trail passes. The cold front associated with this storm will move through the entire region tonight with snow levels lowering to 3000 feet. Total snowfall of 6-12 inches is expected above 4000 feet across the Clearwater and Bitterroot mountains.
