Lookout Pass Snow Sports School – Intermediate & advanced Lesson programs
At Lookout Pass, we believe there’s no one-size-fits-all way to learn skiing or snowboarding. That’s why we’ve put together a variety of options to help you find your groove on the mountain. Whether you’re brand new to the snow, brushing up on basics, or chasing the next level of confidence, our instructors and programs are here to make learning fun, flexible, and perfectly paced for you.
Mighty Moose
Sunday 4-week Program: $239
This 4 Week program is offered for 4 Sundays (2 session options) with a set instructor and class. The program is for Mighty Moose (4-6 years old) who ski or snowboard at any level. See Mini-Moose page for details. Mighty Moose, 9-10:30am, $249 for 4 weeks.
- Session 1: Jan 4, 11, 25 and Feb 1
- Session 2: Feb 8, 22, March 1 and 8
Class size is between 3-5 for Mighty Moose, space is limited, please call with questions at 208.744.1301
Price is for lessons only, but our youngest skiers ski free with ticketed adults.
Shredonomics
6 week Program: $399
Design to work on all mountain skills both on an off-piste (not groomed). This fun 6 week program is about building the skills to create life long skiers and riders. Enrollment is limited. This is a full day program
- Level: Intermediate to Advanced
- Ages: 1st grade to 6th grader (ages 7 to 13)
- Sundays: 1/4, 1/11, 1/25, 2/1, 2/8 and 2/22
- Time: 10:30am -12:30pm (12:30-1:30pm lunch with family) and 1:30pm-3:30pm
Week 1: Stop in to the Snow Sports Desk in the Rental Shop to finish registration. Coaches will be assigned during week one.
Week 2 and beyond: Meet your group on snow!
Students must be comfortable on blue runs, Stopping, turning and controlling speed. Price is for Lesson ONLY, lift access and rentals not included. There is no make up for missed lessons, program is non-transferable and non-refundable.
NEW! Saturday Mountain Explorers
$349 for 6 Classes – Register Online
Designed to work on all mountain skills, both on and off-piste (not groomed). This fun kids program group lesson builds the skills to create lifelong skiers and riders. Enrollment is limited. This is a 3.5-hour class from 9:15-12:40 Saturdays. Open to both skier and snowboarders.
Students will get to work on skills for all mountain skiing and riding including glades, moguls, and carving. Groups may change it week to allow students to learn new skills, go to new terrain or learn from instructors who with expertise in specific areas. Each week students will meet at the marker for the group they want to go in for the day. Lesson does not include lift access or rentals.
- Level: Intermediate and up (Students must be comfortable and in control on greens; they should be proficient in turning)
- Ages: 1st grade to 6th grade (ages 7 to 13)
- Saturdays: Jan 10, 24 & 31, Feb. 7, 21 & 28
- Time: 9:15am -12:40pm
Price is for Lesson ONLY, lift access and rentals not included. There is no make-up for missed lessons, the program is non-transferable and non-refundable.

Seniors 55+ Workshop
Description: The Lookout Pass Senior Workshop is all about fellowship, camaraderie and provides an excellent opportunity to improve your skiing and enjoy the sport to its fullest! Group meets in the Loft at 8am for beverages, light breakfast snacks and possible video presentation before heading out to the slopes at 8:30 am.
Perfect For: Intermediate and Advanced senior skiers!
Time: Sessions meet at 8:30 am on Mondays at Chair 1
Dates: Jan 5, 12, 26, Feb 2, 9, 23 and March 3
Ages: 55+

Lookout Pass Lesson Payment and Cancelation Policy:
Payment is due in full at time of reservation. All lessons are non-transferable and non-refundable. Lessons can be rescheduled 72 hours in advance or more with no charge or fee. Lessons missed or rescheduled within 72 hours of original scheduled time will be charged a $25/student/Hr change fee. This applies to all lesson products including 5-packs of lessons and 1,2,3 or ”Learn to” programs. This does not apply to season long programs as those cannot be reschedule and missed lessons are not refunded.
