The Crown Jewel of Rails-to-Trails will open daily May 26th through late September. The Route of the Hiawatha Trail is a 16 mile ride that goes through 10 tunnels and crosses 7 sky-high trestles. The trail is a gentle 2% all downhill ride.
Trail will open daily at 8:30 a.m. and Trail Shuttles begin at 11 a.m.
Tickets - Food - Lights - Helmets & Bike Rentals are available at Lookout Pass Ski Area at Exit 0 on I-90. This is 5 miles from the Taft Exit in MT that leads to the Trail Head!
We prefer you stop by Lookout Pass Ski & Recreation area on your way, but if you already have your bicycle, helmet and a good bright light, you can go directly to the Hiawatha Trailhead and purchase your trail and shuttle tickets at the trailhead in Rolland.
Season Passes are available for those that plan to ride the trail often this spring, summer and fall!
