LEARN THE STATE OF THE ART IN SKIING IN 2012
For the first time, a member of the Canadian Ski Instructor Alliance Demo Team is coming to the U.S. to conduct advanced clinics on the state of the art in skiing. Casey Bouius, Technical Director at Sunshine Village in Alberta, will be the clinician at Lookout Pass Ski & Recreation Area Feb. 15-16.
Bouius is a past winner and perennial podium finisher in the World Championship Powder 8 contests held each year at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing in Blue River, B.C. As a member of the CSIA Demo Team, he travels throughout North America demonstrating the cutting edge in skiing with advanced techniques and equipment.
“Casey does clinics like this all over Canada for CSIA so he will bring a lot of experience to our slopes,” said Terry Godbout of the Lookout Pass Snowsports School. Lookout management jumped on board and offered our facilities as well as complimentary lift tickets for instructors coming in from other areas. In order to maximize Casey’s visit, we decided to offer two, one-day sessions. Each session will be limited to eight skiers so the groups will be small ensuring lots of personal attention.”
The daily fee for participants is $125. For information on how to register for the Casey Bouius clinics at Lookout Pass, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
