6th Annual Snowskate (Binding free Banked Slalom) contest hosted by Boyd Hill Snowskates out of Coeur d'Alene, ID.
Boyd Hill utilizes equipment manufactured in conjunction with Spokane master ski builder TJ Sneva.
This event will be held in the Rolling Thunder - Natural Terrain Park. The course layout is a natural banked slalom. Runs will be timed on a technical banked course, challenging riders to carry speed from top to bottom.
Registration is at 8am to 9am in the Idaho side of the lodge behind the Food Services Cashier. Cost is still TBD and includes your lift ticket for the entire day. Please understand a Parent or Guardian must sign the liability form for those ages 17 and under.
Event begins at 10 a.m. Two runs per athlete for best time.
Snowskates are binding free, skateboards for the snow.
A small ski/snowboard on the bottom referred to as a "sub". Aluminum trucks rise a skateboard deck above the sub with foam grip tape and leash to insure the skate doesn't run away from a rider after a crash.
LEASHES ARE REQUIRED!
