Dear Season Pass Holders & Friends,

Lookout Pass Ski Area will be hosting the new “ Prime Timers” Club starting November 30 , 2009 and continuing each season thereafter.  

The Lookout Pass Prime Timers Club is a non-profit organization of mature people fifty-five years of age and over who enjoy the camaraderie of skiing or just socializing with friends who share a spirit of adventure.  The club realizes and promotes the benefits of social interactiveness, recreational activities and mental stimulation for a healthy and enjoyable life style.

The club is run totally by volunteers.  We have no office or telephone and communicate by email or when we gather for our weekly ski outing.  We hold no meetings except when we all meet at our favorite ski area, Lookout Pass.

Skiing begins on the last Monday in November and each Monday thereafter until Lookout Pass closes in the Spring.

We meet in the Lodge in the Loft Lounge for our activities including the after ski socials and several lunches.  Our informal social gatherings include refreshments at the end of the ski day which is a great time to share our experiences from the days activities.

Anyone 55 or older wishing to add a little camaraderie to their ski day may join.  Prospective members are always welcome at our weekly ski outings or socials to see us in action.

• The dues for everyone receiving electronic mail will be $25 per couple and $15 for a single for the entire season.
• Dues are used to purchase several lunches, soda, pitchers of beer, wine and snacks for our social gatherings and administrative purposes.
• For those not on line, we would appreciate you adding $5.00 for mailing expenses, the dues would be $30 per couple and $20 for a single per year.
• Checks may be made out to Prime Timers.
• A $3 weekly donation is suggested for those attending the social gathering.

We are currently looking for a secretary treasurer, and a couple of coordinators. We need someone who can monitor and up date the Prime Timer Web Site and send out the newsletter.  We currently have four people to help solicit members, Pat & Dick Matson from Coeur d’Alene and Anna & Dennis Sane out of Missoula. Come join us, meet old friends and make new ones.  You will be happily surprised with the commonality skiers have on the slopes and in life.

Benefits:  Membership brings several privileges, including discount lift tickets at other area ski resorts.   On Mountain Perks:  50 cent coffee, 10% discount on food.  Prime Timer name tags to help identify you in the lodge and an identifiable arm band to identify you on the slopes.  Affordable season pass specials for seniors (62-69),  super seniors (70+) and lifetime gold pass for (80+).
